Same name, now with an all new chassis and internals, featuring the world's first 4 way adjustable monotube damper. Unlike other monotube shocks like DHX and Float X, the new X2 has both high and low speed compression and rebound damping adjustment.
The new damper is a result of Fox's effort to make a shock that matched the GRIP X2 damper in the current range of forks. The aim of more responsive rebound damping led Fox to pursuing “Pressure Balancing” and the shock maintains a low positive air pressure.

- Increased main shaft diameter - now 12.7mm for better strength and durability.
